Jeremy Wolfe has announced that there will be a new journal coming soon, Cognitive Research: Principles and Applications with a special emphasis on use-inspired basic research. The annual Psychonomic Society meeting is coming up... I'll be chairing the Friday morning session on "Attention: Capture" and presenting my work on peripheral interference in people with schizophrenia. See you in Chicago perhaps!

ERPLAB has been developed in our lab for many years and offers powerful data analysis tools that you might like to use in your analyses. It runs on the Matlab platform and is a plugin for the EEGLAB toolbox (found here: http://sccn.ucsd.edu/eeglab/ ). OPAM is a long-running satellite conference of the Psychonomic Society Meeting, which offers an excellent opportunity for junior researchers (undergraduates, graduates, and postdocs) to present exciting research.
